Why poultry birds are culled (Mass segregation or Killing) during bird flu outbreak

Many birds are killed by the government due to the risk of bird flu in India.
Why governments have to kill such birds, we will understand its importance today
in this only poultry birds are culled

Birds can do everything during their flight. Even they do Defecation and toilet during their flight
And if infected bird will do this in air the particles of their excretory material will get speeded all around.

the air and virus can become aerosol and can spread infection to other birds and animals
And due to this a single bird in a group of birds can infect other birds and by this infected bird spread infection.

We have no other option, even if we do not kill these birds, then also  these birds will die, along with this
they will continue to infect other birds. Hence we kill these birds .
This time to make this process more humain birds will be given anesthesia before culling ,and the
method of culling will be wringing of the neck.also called as neck dislocation.

With more states confirming cases of bird flu and many still investigating the unexplained deaths of wild birds, crows and fowl, the central government has intensified its coordination with local authorities to prevent the spread of the disease . Several states have announced the capture of chickens and ducks, a ban on live bird markets and a ban on chicken and related foods have also been implemented.
